We are Ana and dana, two fragrance-interested people dedicated to the advancement of fragrance and perfumery through transparent journalism, organic community building, and sustainable practices.
We’ve been working on this site for over 18 months, with the aid of collaborators, hired help, and a lot of volunteers; it was, indeed, a group effort. As such, we are not looking for profit—even if we don’t recover all time and money investments, we see PD as our legacy to the community at large. We’re happy with that.

Ana Stoian writes in Spanish and English on Ana Y El Perfume. She’s well-respected and often solicited for advice by perfumers and reviewers alike. She’s a social worker in Madrid, Spain and to PD, she brings balance, brains, and infinite detailing.
dana sandu writes, as A Nose Knows, for her eponymous channels and for CaFleureBon. Separately, she maintains Nas de Nas, the largest Romanian-language fragrance community in the world. She works in Silicon Valley, and to PD she brings vision, diversity, and courage.
